DMCA Takedown Services in India
Right Solutions A.I. supports Indian film rights holders with evidence preparation and authorized copyright reporting, including DMCA notices where the receiving service uses that process. The correct reporting route depends on the platform, the rights involved and the material being reported.
What DMCA means for an Indian rights holder
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a United States law. Its notice-and-takedown process is used by many online services; it is not a universal Indian removal order. We identify the appropriate published reporting process for each destination.
Our role is operational support for authorized reporting. A contested ownership claim, counter-notice or need for a court order should be referred to qualified legal counsel.
Prepare a specific copyright report
A notice generally needs identification of the work and allegedly infringing material, contact details, a signature and the required statements about good faith, accuracy and authority. We organize supporting information for the receiving service's current requirements.
- Identify the original work and the rights you control
- Provide exact infringing URLs and a clear comparison
- Confirm the authorized signatory and contact details
Host removal and Google delisting are different
A hosting or platform report asks the service responsible for content to remove it or restrict access. A Google Search copyright report concerns links in search results; delisting does not delete the source file. Each destination reviews its own report.
Project updates should identify where a report was sent and whether it is awaiting review, actioned, declined or needs more information.
Helpful answers
Questions & answers
Does a DMCA notice guarantee a removal?
No. The receiving service reviews the notice. Incomplete evidence, lack of authority, permitted uses and disputes can affect the outcome.
Can you send a report without the owner's authorization?
We require confirmation of the relevant rights and authority to act. We do not use copyright reports to suppress lawful criticism or material outside the client's rights.
